國際精神分析學會（英語：International Psychoanalytical Association，簡稱IPA）是由精神分析學創始人西格蒙德·弗洛伊德於1910年3月在薩德·費倫齊、歐內斯特·瓊斯、卡爾·榮格等精神分析學家的提議推動下設立的國際性組織。該學會由72個組織構成，擁有12000多名正式會員。<ref>About Psychoanalysis. www.ipa.world. [2023-01-04]. （原始內容存檔於2023-03-13）. </ref>

在1902年，弗洛伊德與其同事約定每周星期三探討工作，便成立了周三心理學會。到了1908年成員已經有14人了，周三心理學會改稱維也納精神分析學會，除了成員外，還有一些客人是後來精神分析的重要人物，包括Max Eitingon、卡爾·榮格、卡爾·亞伯拉罕以及歐內斯特·瓊斯，他們後來都成為了IPA的主席。<ref name=":0">History of the IPA. www.ipa.world. [2023-01-04]. （原始內容存檔於2023-01-04）. </ref>

在1907年，歐內斯特·瓊斯向榮格建議應該安排一次有關精神分析的國際會議，該提議使得歐內斯特·瓊斯成為提出並促成IPA 成立的第一人。弗洛伊德對這個提議表示歡迎，並選定1908年4月27日在薩爾茨堡召開會議。關於會議的名稱，歐內斯特·瓊斯希望名稱為「國際精神分析大會」，但榮格決定將會名稱為「第一屆弗洛伊德心理學大會」。此時IPA尚未成，儘管如此該次會議仍被認為是IPA的第一屆會議。<ref name=":0" />

等到1910年3月的第二次會議在德國紐倫堡舉行，國際精神分析學會才正式成立，並將第一任主席定為卡爾·榮格，奧托·蘭克擔任秘書。後來在1911年6月，阿德勒與弗洛伊德決裂，他與擁護他的心理學理念的追隨者一起辭去了維也納精神分析學會的職務，創立了與弗洛伊德精神分析相反的心理學體系，便是後來聞名於世的個體心理學。<ref name=":0" />

IPA如今已是精神分析行業的主要認證和監管機構。
